Imagine: during your travel you pass all kinds of interesting and beautiful scenes. No matter if landscapes, buildings, during your trip through the country or while visiting a city. Everywhere you’ll see something worthwile to go back for.
With my Dream Locations you have your own memory app with you. While passing a beautiful scene, just add this location. A name, the date and the coordinates are stored directly. Afterwards you can change this name, add a description and point out the precise location on the map.
You can also prepare your holiday and store the Dream Locations you want to see. While you are at your destination, open the app, and it will tell you your Dream Locations, their distance and which of them are close.
The app has 4 screens:
List:
Shows a list of all your Dream Locations. Also the current distance to those locations is shown. Dream Locations within a certain radius (setting) are marked with a pin. This screen will show an alert when you are close to one or more of your Dream Locations (which you can turn off in the settings).
Your options here:
• With the search function you can find back your Dream Locations easily. The app will search through the names and descriptions.
• When you see something you like, just press [+] and your Dream Location is stored.
• When you want to delete a Location just swipe on it from right to left and the [Delete] button will appear.
• When you want to change the app settings press [Settings].
• When you want to have an overview of your Dream Locations, press [Overview].
Detail:
This detail screen shows the name, description, date added and the map with a pin. You can change the name and description and you can point the exact location of your Dream Location and drop the pin. You can change the map to Standard, Satellite and Hybrid. Dont forget to press [Save].
Settings:
You also have a couple of settings: - Notify me (on/off), - Notify every (the number of minutes after you’ll be notified again so that you don’t miss any Dream Location during your journey) - set the distance to kilometers or miles and - determine in what radius the app should find your Dream Locations.
Overview:
This screen shows you all your Dream Locations on the map. You can zoom in and out to get the best overview. Tap on a pin and it shows you the name you gave it plus the coordinates.
Languages: English, German and Dutch.
